Manuel Turizo (full name Manuel Turizo Zapata) is an urbano and reggaeton singer songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Colombia whose trademark is his smooth buttery tenor singing voice. He's made major inroads globally towards Latin pop. Una Lady Como Tu from 2016 won the Colombian Kids Choice Award as The Most Popular Song for 2017. In 2017, he dropped ADN, his first long-player for La Industria Inc. in Medellin. The album reached number 8 on the Top Latin Albums Chart. In the following year, he collaborated with Ozuna to record Vaina Loca which reached number five on the Top Latin Albums chart. Mala Influencia, made available in 2020 by Noriel and his Dopamina album in the same year. In 2021 he produced a duet for TINI's hit song Maldita Foto. 2000 which included the smash hit La Bachata appeared in 2023. Turizo is a musician who was born into a musical family. His parents and brothers were also musicians. In interviews, Turizo stated that music is an essential part of his life. As a child, he studied the guitar and saxophone. In spite of initially wanting to become a veterinarian, Julian convinced him that having lessons from a Cuban singer would alter the direction of his career.
